Samsung Unpacked: see all the new features launched this Wednesday

The Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s new accessory, will work by applying AI to leverage the data collected to provide more complete guidance that helps the user to have a healthier routine.

It was designed to work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, with a battery that promises to last 7 consecutive days. Made of titanium, it has a comfortable design and weighs up to 3 grams, so it can be used as an accessory. According to the company’s announcement, it can survive different temperatures and relative humidity levels, in addition to being able to withstand many recharges.

The new ring hits the market in three different colors (Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold), nine different size options and water resistance capable of withstanding diving up to 100 meters deep. Along with it comes Energy Score, a tool powered by Galaxy AI that offers recommendations on what to focus on during the day and well-being tips based on health data collected, such as heart rate and sleep quality.

The launches are the expansion of Samsung AI, the South Korean company’s artificial intelligence, for foldables and their considerably larger screens. The technology was launched in January with the Galaxy 24 line and is present in 16 languages ​​and more than 200 countries.

Samsung used Corning Gorilla Glass VBicturs 2 and Armor Aluminum technologies to increase the durability of the foldable line, which are the lightest and thinnest ever launched by the company. Z Fol6 6 and Z Flip 6 are also equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the most advanced processor in the line, which intensifies the devices’ visual performance.

Available in three colors (Silver Shadow, Pink and Navy), the Z Fold 6 is the new version of Samsung’s large-screen foldable. It comes with an update that enhances the gaming experience, with a Vapor Chamber camera 1.6 times larger, which improves the cooling system. The 7.6-inch screen offers an even brighter 2,600 nit display with Ray Tracing, a computer graphics technology used to create three-dimensional objects.

The Z Flip 6, in turn, has a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow screen that was designed to function and meet the user’s needs, even without being open. The camera now comes with a 50 MP Wide camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, which improve performance for users looking for this functionality. Other new features include Nightography, which makes it possible to capture brighter videos even in the dark and optical zoom that can reach up to 10x with the help of AI. The device is available in four colors: Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue and Mint.

For those who buy online, two other colors are available for the Z Fold 6 (Crafted Black and White) and one for the Z Flip 6 (Peach).

Galaxy Watch7 and Ultra

Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra offer for the first time the possibility of detecting signs of potential sleep apnea, in addition to functions already known from previous versions, such as monitoring physical activities (bodybuilding, running, among others), sleep and body composition.

The device’s sleep apnea detection has received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the United States regulatory agency. It is not yet known whether the function will be available in Brazil.

Another novelty present in the watches is the monitoring of advanced glycation end products with the AGE index. According to Samsung, monitoring this parameter reflects the biological aging process and provides an indication of metabolic health.

The Galaxy7, the simplest model presented this Wednesday, will be available in sizes 40 mm (in green and cream) and 44 mm (in green and silver)

Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro

The expansion of Galaxy AI also reached Samsung headphones. Launched in two colors (Silver and White), the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro come with a simultaneous translation function for those attending a class in another language, more accurate voice control and Blade Lights, which they promise better design and make the user experience more intuitive with a more pleasant aesthetic. The Pro version also comes with noise control with sensors for sirens and voices.
