A Deezer announced a new feature in the testing phase for users: AI-Powered Playlist.

Platform subscribers will be able to create new playlists with the help of artificial intelligence using text commands with musical genres, mood, decade, activity or any other characteristic that comes to mind.

The new tool, which is currently available to 5% of Deezer’s paying subscribers during the testing phase, follows other features of the app that already use AI: such as Flow, a selection of songs based on the user’s favorites, and SongCatcher, which allows you to recognize and save a song you don’t know the name of.

Spotify and Amazon Music had already announced the start of testing this same functionality on their platforms.
