More than simply a residence, houses have become a space of comfort, elegance and well-being, where we experience special moments with family and friends.

This movement, which began during the Covid pandemic, has been gaining strength year after year, according to the Casa do Futuro survey, which highlighted trends that should influence the composition of residences until the next decade.

Held in 2021 and led by Hibou, a company specialized in monitoring consumption habits and the current market, the study revealed that beauty, as well as practicality, comfort, sustainability and connectivity will be on the rise in Brazilian homes. By 2031, 45% of respondents expect to have more home automation, with home appliances connected via Wi-Fi. Furthermore, 77.2% want to have more thermal comfort in their homes: they are not so hot in the summer, nor so cold in the winter.

Aware of this growing demand, the industry has invested in cutting-edge resources.

Specifically in relation to air conditioning devices, the Daikin, a Japanese company that is a global reference in the market, incorporates cutting-edge technology to meet the desires of these demanding and discerning consumers. Synonymous with beauty, quality, economy and innovation, the brand’s equipment has several differentiators, such as:

1 – Cutting-edge connectivity

Anticipating the desires of Brazilians, Daikin has already incorporated the convenience of home automation and voice assistants into its latest devices. You can monitor and control the air conditioning functions from wherever you are with a smartphone through the Daikin Smart AC app (compatible with Google and Alexa voice assistants and available on Android and IOS platforms). It is possible, for example, to turn the equipment on and off, name the environments, control the air flow and temperature and even program the opening hours.

2 – Sophisticated and customizable design

Aware that beauty is an essential requirement to make decoration more cozy and sophisticated, Daikin brings air conditioning units that integrate harmoniously into the environment, without compromising elegance or style. Quite the contrary, it adds a touch of personality to the decor, whether in the bedroom or living room. Among the solutions offered is i.colorpersonalization service, which allows the customer to choose between 6 incredible colors (copper brown, metallic green, pink, lead, silver or black) to make the house even more beautiful.

3 – Greater energy efficiency

Daikin air conditioning features Inverter technology, which controls the compressor speed to promote energy savings and avoid waste. Instead of turning it on and off repeatedly, as with Non-Inverting, it simply reduces or increases its rotation speed, generating better comfort and saving up to 70%* of energy, but offering the same benefits.

4 – Advanced air purification system

To protect your health, the devices feature double to triple filtration of ambient air. A mold-proof screen filter, whose microfibers retain dust and another, Silver Ion, composed of silver ions that eliminate bacteria and keep the air in the environment safe and clean.

5 – More comfort

The indoor and outdoor units of Daikin air conditioners operate at a low noise level, providing a comfortable and quiet night. Furthermore, it is possible to turn off or reduce the brightness of the evaporator LEDs to leave the environment completely dark and pleasant.

6 – Durability

The heat exchanger of the outdoor unit is made with copper tubes and aluminum fins coated with a special anti-corrosion treatment. The surface of these parts is covered with a thin layer of acrylic resin and a second layer of hydrophilic coating to increase corrosion resistance.

7 – Environmentally friendly technology

Daikin was a pioneer in the development of air conditioning equipment that uses the refrigerant fluid R-32, a substance with a lower global warming potential than R-410A (unfortunately, it is still widely used). In addition to directly reducing negative impacts on the environment, R-32 is more efficient, which contributes to lower energy consumption. O Split Hi Wall EcoSwing Smart Gold R-32, the most economical premium product line in the category, has even more improved technology to deliver extremely high performance. To give you an idea, when it is working, its IDRS (Seasonal Cooling Performance Index) is 8.3. And when turned off, it only consumes 1W in stand-by mode. It is no surprise that the line received the Procel Ouro Seal and is considered Class A by Inmetro.

*Between the months of January to June 2018, Daikin carried out in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Santa Catarina, a comparison of energy consumption in real measurements between products without Inverter technology (2018 models) sold in Brazil and those products with Daikin Inverter technology.
