All athletes participating in the Paris Olympic Games received a special model of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, new launch of Samsung’s foldable line, one of the event’s sponsors. The gift repeats what the Korean brand did at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, when it gave a Galaxy S21 to each competitor.
Samsung’s new cell phone was launched on July 10th, during Unpacked in which the company also presented the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Ring, new Galaxy Buds, and the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra watches.
Alongside the Z Fold 6, the Z Flip 6 is the expansion of Galaxy AI, artificial intelligence from the South Korean company, for foldables and their considerably larger screens. The technology was launched in January with the Galaxy 24 line and will be present, by the end of the year, in 16 languages and more than 200 million devices.

The device is available in four colors: Silver Shadow, Yellow, Blue and Mint.
For those who buy online, two other colors are available for the Z Fold 6 (Crafted Black and White) and one for the Z Flip 6 (Peach).
The special version given to athletes at the Paris Olympics comes in gold and features Olympic and Paralympic hoops. The technology giant’s publicity campaign stars Brazilian skateboarder Rayssa Leal, who achieved a stop in Tokyo and became the youngest Brazilian athlete to win a medal.

The new releases are now available for pre-sale and can be purchased by the public from July 24th.
The version of the Z Flip 6 with 256 GB of memory can be purchased for R$7,999 on the brand’s website. Those who pay in cash can take their cell phone for R$7,199. The 512 GB model, in turn, costs R$8,999 and can be purchased outright for R$8,099.
