With its own built-in tracking module compatible with Apple’s Find My network and a traditional dual design, ESR’s Geo Wallet can be located using an iPhone if it goes missing and without the protrusion of an AirTag tucked inside.

There’s no shortage of wallets designed to accommodate an AirTag or credit card-sized trackers like the Chipolo, but using its own tracking module with a rechargeable lithium battery just 1.6 millimeters thick, the Dual Geo Wallet offers the Same functionality with space inside for more than just a handful of cards.

You can squeeze cash, coins, nine cards and even some ID documents into the Geo Wallet.

Inside the Geo Wallet there are slots for nine cards, including two slots with an ID window, a pocket for ten bills and space to store some change. It’s made from vegan leather with a layer of RFID-blocking material and is available in seven colors: carbon fiber, twilight black, cocoa, opal gray, distressed leather, tangerine, and elephant gray.

The Geo Wallet’s tracking module battery is half the thickness of the replaceable CR2032 batteries used in AirTags. ESR claims the slim battery will power the tracker for five months on just a two-hour charge, while Apple claims a new battery in an AirTag will power it for up to a year.

A proprietary port means you have one more charging cable to keep track of.

Five months of use is enough for charging to not be a hassle, but to help keep the Geo Wallet slim, ESR opted for a proprietary magnetic charging cable. This is another cable you won’t want to lose because you can’t locate that vital accessory using your smartphone.

ESR is making Geo Wallet available through a Crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter which has already surpassed its funding goal of US$12,809. Early backers can pre-order one for $41, while the wallet is expected to sell for around $55 after the crowdfunding campaign ends.

There is always a risk that crowdfunded products may not provide the promised features and functionality, or at all. But there is less risk here. ESR is an established brand that offers similar results Find my compatible wallets before. It’s not innovating with Geo Wallet, but providing a leaner solution to Apple’s tracking hardware that still takes advantage of the extensive Find My network to increase the chances of being found if lost.
