Apple’s new AI features for the iPhone may not arrive with the initial release of iOS 18 and the expected release of the iPhone 16 in September, according to a report of Bloomberg. Instead, the company plans to release Apple Intelligence with iOS 18.1 in October as it works to get the release right.
Although Apple typically does not release betas for its follow-up software updates before the public release of the initial version, Bloomberg reports what some These AI features are yet to arrive with the release of iOS 18.1 and iPad 18.1 developer betas later this week.
The early release could allow developers to test Apple’s AI capabilities and identify bugs before they reach everyone and extend to other platforms such as Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV.
