If you can spend the extra money, this higher spec model is ideal as it has the performance headroom to last a long time. However, even the entry-level MacBook Air is a great all-around machine, especially since its 256GB SSD no longer runs at slower speeds like previous generations.
Apple’s latest version of the Air was released earlier this year and received some modest upgrades over its predecessor, including a faster M3 processor, the ability to use two external displays with the lid closed, and Wi-Fi 6E. There really are no downsides to choosing the M3 Air over the older M2 model other than the higher price – and today’s deal makes that delta just $50.
