As of this writing, the latest “war” being waged over what is legal and what is not has to do with how tall are your socks. Ankle-high socks: OUT. Old. Not cool and millennial, apparently. Crew socks: IN. It evolved. Rebel (???). Gen Z’s favorite sock, some say. Does it matter if any of these things are empirically true? No! But manufactured generational warfare is probably selling a lot of socks right now.

The life cycle of trends It’s never been so short – current fashions disappear as quickly as they appear. When someone can spark a viral tirade or feud, neither trend ends up mattering much in the long run. So here it is On the edge employees measuring the temperature of what is hot and what is not. Maybe some of this will stick. And I’m sorry if this hurts your feelings.
