AMD is investigating allegations of data stolen from the company

AMD is investigating a possible cyber attack. A threat actor known by the pseudonym “IntelBroker” is selling data it claims was obtained from an AMD.com breach this month, BeepingComputer reports, and the company confirmed in a statement that it is investigating the alleged theft. IntelBroker says the data for sale includes future products, employee databases and customer databases.

“We are aware of a cybercriminal organization that claims to be in possession of stolen AMD data,” AMD said in the statement given to BeepingComputer, GaronIt is Bloomberg. “We are working closely with law enforcement and a third-party hosting partner to investigate the complaint and the significance of the data.”

In 2022, AMD confirmed that it was investigating allegations that the hacker group RansomHouse stole 450 GB of data.
