Elon Musk says he plans to move X and SpaceX’s headquarters from California to Texas. “Because of this law and many others that preceded it, attacking families and businesses alike, SpaceX will now move its headquarters from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas,” Musk said. wrote in a tweetreferencing California SAFETY Act (AB1955).

Signed Monday by California Governor Gavin Newsom, it prevents schools from imposing rules that require teachers to disclose changes to a student’s gender identity without their permission and prohibits retaliation against teachers who refuse to disclose a student, reports the Los Angeles Times.
