XBOX is known for its custom consoles and collaborative giveaways, but its latest might be its strangest yet.
We’ve seen Xbox controllers that smell like pizza and others with Deadpool and Wolverine bums, but nothing has been as strange as the current offering.
In collaboration with the upcoming hack ‘n’ slash, Gori: Cuddly Carnage, Wired Productions is offering a rather exclusive Xbox Series X.
Simply put, the console is furry and covered in delicious golden fur.
In the image you cannot see the full coverage of the skin and there is no information whether the hair will be removable or not.
However, as long as it doesn’t cover the ventilation openings, its fur probably won’t cause the console to overheat or, worse, catch fire.
Since the giveaway is on behalf of the publisher and not Xbox, there are several ways players can enter for a chance to win the beastly console.
This includes things like wishlisting the game on several different consoles, following certain accounts on Twitter, and retweeting the various promotional tweets for the giveaway.
You can choose how you want to participate in the competition, and you can do so in 20 different ways.
Most methods offer 100 entries for the draw, while the game’s wish list offers 200 entries.
If you do join, be warned that you’ll have some stiff competition and that there are plenty of Xbox fans who want to get their hands on the furry console.
One Twitter user wrote: “Looks perfect!” While another said: “Purfection.”
People were often blown away by how unique the custom Xbox was and confused about how they felt about it.
Someone said: “It’s disgusting, I loved it” and another added: “What in God’s name is THAT!!!!!”
Funnier were the people who thought of unconventional ways to enjoy the new console.
One user wrote: “Do you think it would make a good pillow? Asking a friend.
