Pokémon fans are realizing there’s an easy way to catch Shiny Gimmighoul – here’s how

NINTENDO recently announced that Shiny Gimmighoul would return in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

The popular competitive Pokémon Gholdengo evolves from Gimmighoul, but its shiny form was only briefly available last year.

Now, the shiny Ghost-type Pokémon is back on the raids to celebrate the Pokémon World Championships.

However, it’s not as easy to find as people originally thought, and many are struggling to find one.

Shiny Gimmighoul is only available during limited-time raids, which are available until August 22, 2024.

Fortunately, the attacks aren’t too difficult, as Gimmighoul is a pretty underwhelming Pokémon.

Raids can be between one and five stars, but the Shiny Gimmighoul can only be found in five-star raids.

Anything you have at a high enough level should be able to take down Gimmighoul, but physical attackers will make the process quicker.

Of course, defeating Gimmighoul isn’t the problem here, it’s finding a Shiny.

The odds of Shiny Gimmighoul appearing are slightly worse than the standard odds, at 1/4103 instead of 1/4096.

Since they only appear in raids, it can be very time consuming to search for a Shiny, especially since the difference is so small.

You can see in our picture, the only difference is that the body is a little whiter.

This means it can be difficult to know whether it’s shiny or not until you capture it.
