PLAYSTATION players are getting a huge discount this week, as one of the best games of 2024 so far has been reduced in price for the first time.
Released just three months ago, the 90-rated title is selling for its lowest price ever, and you won’t find the same deal in other stores and online platforms.
Tekken 8 is the latest entry in the long-running series of Japanese fighting games and was released to rave reviews in January 2024.
Praised as one of the best games in the franchise, the PS5 version of Tekken 8 received a 90 on review aggregator Metacritic, with a respectable user score of 4.61/5.00 on the PlayStation Store.
Although it doesn’t offer many new features, Tekken 8 is the best-looking game in the series and does its best to ease newcomers into the increasingly complicated mechanics.
You can read more about the game in our Tekken 8 review.
Normally priced at £69.99 / $69.99, Tekken 8 is available now for £48.99 / $48.99 from PlayStation Store, saving 30%.
Fans can also purchase the Ultimate Edition of the game, which includes a one-year pass that will add four DLC characters until the end of 2024, for 20% off.
The Ultimate Edition also features some character costumes and other in-game cosmetics.
A free demo of Tekken 8 is also available to all PlayStation 5 players, so you can try the game before you buy.
Being the latest game in the Tekken series, #8 is only available on PS5, so PS4 owners won’t be able to play it.
There are PC Steam and Xbox Series X | S from Tekken 8, but they are being sold at full price right now.
PS5 players will have up to May 2, 2024, 8am UK time/3am ET to close the deal, and that’s when the game will return to its regular price.
