Effective from April 28th, the Square Enix Golden Week Sale includes dozens of 9/10 games from the publisher’s extensive library.

We scoured the sales on Steam to pick out the best deals, and most of them are also available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, PlayStation Store, and Xbox consoles.

Crisis Core -Final Fantasy 7- Reunion is an excellent remaster of the 2007 PSP game that presents the events that took place before Final Fantasy 7.

Now that two games in the FF7 remake trilogy have been released, any fan or gaming newcomer should experience the story of Crisis Core.

You can pick up the Crisis Core remaster for £19.99 / $24.99saving 50% off the regular price on Steam and all console stores.

Rated 83 on review aggregator Metacritic, Triangle Strategy is a great tactical JRPG praised for its combat, story, and music.

While the game looks a lot like Octopath Traveler, it’s similar to a Fire Emblem or X-COM title, with a grid-based combat field and a focus on tactical movement.

Triangle Strategy has versions for PC and Nintendo Switch, but only PC players on Steam are getting 50% off and can purchase the game for £24.99 / $29.99.

NieR: Automata is on sale across all platforms, with its Game of the YoRHa Edition at 60% off on Steam and the PlayStation Store, and the Nintendo Switch port at 40% off on the eShop.

Telling the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 as they battle alien machines in a dystopian world, it features stylish hack-and-slash combat with lots of combo attacks.

With an 89 rating on Metacritic for its Nintendo Switch version, it was praised for its story and gameplay as one of the best games ever made.

On Steam and PlayStation Store, it is £11.99 / $15.99while Switch owners can get it $23.99 / £20.99.

Both Octopath Traveler It is Octopath Traveler 2 are on sale, with 50% and 40% off respectively, on all platforms where each game is available.

Both titles offer a modern take on classic turn-based JRPGs, like the old Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger and especially Live A Live.

Each game follows eight heroes with different abilities and their seemingly separate stories that eventually intertwine.

Octopath Traveler is £24.99 / $29.99 on Steam, Xbox and Nintendo eShop.

Unfortunately, the first Octopath Traveler game isn’t available on PlayStation consoles, so PS4 and PS5 will miss out on half of this deal.

Right now, Octopath Traveler 2 costs £29.99 / $35.99 on all platforms.

Square Enix Golden Sale deals will be available until May 8, 2024so there is more than a week left to pick them up.
