What is the FaZe clan?

FaZe Clan is one of the largest eSports organizations in the world.

The FaZe clan was founded in 2010 as a Call of Duty team by Eric “CLipZ” Rivera, Jeff “House Cat” Emann, and Ben “Resistance” Christensen, who reportedly met while playing COD Modern Warfare 2.

In 2012, the organization began to grow and reached 1 million subscribers on YouTube after posting several videos of them playing different games.

In 2020, they became the fourth most valuable eSports company in the world at $305 million, with revenues reaching $50 million the following year, according to Forbes.

“We started out as kids of the Internet, armed with cameras and a die-hard love of video games. We transform our passions and struggles into a global creative engine that has no borders and continues to define gaming culture,” states FaZe in its website.

“The most important thing is that we are a family,” they continue.

In 2021, FaZe announced a SPAC merger that would see the group publicly traded on the Nasdaq and valued at more than $1 billion.

As of January 2021, they have a fan base of 341 million followers.

Other top esports teams include TSM, Cloud9, Team Liquid, 100 Thieves, and Gen.G.

Which members make up the FaZe Clan roster?

The FaZe Clan roster included 79 members including players and content creators.

However, in April 2024, FaZe Clan shared a cryptic post about their roster reset.

In the video, a page of code can be seen with the text “An error has occurred” and “Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart your company”.

FaZe Banks, who is the founder of FaZe, responded to the scary video with the new lineup.

“Adapt, Apex, Banks, Jev, Kaysan, Nick Mercs, Replays, Ronaldo, Rug, Scope, Swagg, Temperrr, Your Rage, Zooma. Everyone is out,” he wrote.

“That’s the list.”

Several members took to social media to announce that they had been dropped by the gaming organization.

Some of its most popular members include:

  • FaZe Rain, whose real name is Nordan Shat
