EVERYONE knows that May 4th is Star Wars Day, and Fortnite is holding an event to celebrate with players.

The v29.40 update will be the last update for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, but it hopes to end the season strong.

There will be some returning skins and a number of new outfits to round out the seasons.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite v29.40 update.

What’s in the Fortnite x Star Wars event?

Fortnite launches a Star Wars crossover event every year on May 4th, and this year is no different.

All Star Wars items and skins will likely remain until the end of the season, so there’s no rush if you want to grab them.

Returning skins like Darth Vader will be available in the Item Shop, and new skins like Dagobah Luke and Lando Calrissian are being added.

There will also be Lego versions of each of these skins for anyone playing Lego Fortnite mode.

Star Wars instrument skins will also be added to the Fortnite Festival, and a Star Wars racing pack offers plenty of car cosmetics for Rocket Racing.

We’re not sure what Star Wars-themed weapons will be added yet, but we’ve seen the E-10 Blaster rifle in a trailer and we’d be surprised if lightsabers don’t return.

What is included in the Star Wars Lego Pass?

Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode is known for its Battle Pass, and while this has already become popular at the Fortnite Festival, Lego Fortnite will receive its first pass in the v29.40 update.

This pass will offer a free and a premium reward track, just like the other Fortnite passes, and will cost 1,400 V-Bucks to unlock.

The highlight of the pass is the Chewbacca skin, which has a regular variant and a Lego variant that you get as soon as you purchase the premium pass.

The free items pass mainly contains decorations, but the premium pass features several Star Wars building kits.

Which Rocket Racing tracks are new?

Rocket Racing is adding two new tracks to the Fortnite v29.40 update.

The first track is Seaside Farms, which is a brilliant track that returns several times.

The second track, Python, sees you driving through dense jungle, so you’ll need to be more careful with this one.

What items are not protected in the Fortnite v29.40 update?

Several weapons and items based on Greek gods were put away at the start of the season, but many are returning in this update.

Chain of Hades, Zeus’ Lightning Bolt, and Wings of Icarus will be available in the standard loot pool, meaning you can pick them up during the match.

In addition to Waterbending, Avatar-themed Mythics will be kept for the rest of the season.

Which Marvel and My Hero Academia skins will be added?

This update adds not one, but two new sets of crossover skins.

The third wave of My Hero Academia skins will be released, which includes outfits based on Dabi, Shigaraki, and Himiko.

More Marvel costumes will also be coming, including Loki and some as-yet-unrevealed X-Men skins.
