Destiny 2 players can get a huge free update with three major expansions

DESTINY 2 is one of the most popular free games, but to get the most out of it you need expansions.

Massive expansions are released every now and then, giving players more areas and weapons to play with, as well as new bosses.

Right now, Destiny 2 is gearing up for its next expansion, The Final Shape, and developer Bungie is letting everyone catch up on the game.

In May 7, 2024, until June 3, 2024, Players on select platforms will receive free access to Destiny 2’s three major expansions.

Final Shape will launch on June 4, 2024, when open access will end.

Players will have access to The Witch Queen, Beyond the Light, It is Shadowkeep until the end of the month.

All three expansions will be available on computer, P.S.4 It is PS5 although open access does not extend to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players.

If you subscribe to at least the lowest tier of PS Plus, PS Plus Essential, you can purchase and keep the latest expansion, Lightfall, as long as you maintain your subscription.

It’s likely that Bungie is making this decision to encourage as many players as possible to jump into the game before The Final Shape goes on sale.

However, it’s still a great chance to give Destiny 2 a try while the expansions are free and see if you want to dive in with The Final Shape.

Expansions for Destiny 2 are frequently given away, so if you want to come back to them later, these deals are worth seeking out.
