IN the world of digital downloads, it’s unfortunately not uncommon for games to come and go from online stores.

This obviously bothers gamers who believe in game preservation and the ability to access all games created.

In March, Warner Bros. announced that Adult Swim Games would be closed and the games removed from all stores in the process.

Some of the developers spoke out about this, claiming that there were only 60 days left until the games were removed.

Small radio and big television developer Owen Deery said Warner Bros. cited “internal business changes” for removing the games.

Fist Puncher developer Matt Kain Lewandowski said Warner Bros. refused to transfer ownership of the game to keep it on Steam.

However, more than 60 days have passed since the announcement and Adult Swimming Games are still available for purchase.

Deery returned to update players on the situation and it appears that Warner Bros.

Deery’s tweet reads: “Update: The game will not be ‘retired.’ Ownership and store listings will return to me.”

This is the only news we’ve had on the matter, but it looks like other developers will be similarly affected.

Other adult swimming games such as Fist Puncher, Jazzpunk and Rain World are still available, suggesting this is a radical change in policy.

It was not explained why the change was made, but players believe resistance was part of the decision.
