The latest Xbox exclusive is much quicker to complete than people expected

It’s been seven years in the making, but Hellblade’s successor has finally arrived.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is a highly anticipated sequel to Senua’s Sacrifice and is available to play for free on PC or Xbox Series X|S via Game Pass.

The original game wasn’t particularly long, although rich in story, but people thought the sequel could be longer.

How long to beat Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

Hellblade 2 is similar in length to the original game and will take the average gamer 8-10 hours to complete.

This time will obviously depend on your difficulty choice, with harder difficulty settings taking longer and playthroughs on easy difficulty being shorter.

You can also complete a series of optional objectives, such as finding hidden collectibles such as the Lorestangir pillars and the Hidden Faces.

Completing all of these objectives will likely add 3-4 hours of gameplay for your time.

There are only six chapters in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and most will take just over an hour to complete.

Each chapter is also divided into subchapters, and you can jump to the specific part you need in chapter selection.
