POKÉMON has changed the formula of its main games and there are always monthly updates with extra game content.
This includes seven-star raids, a difficult battle type that can net players super-powered Pokémon.
In these difficult raids, you can team up with up to four other players – or play alone – to defeat and capture the raid’s Pokémon.
This June, you’ll have the chance to catch Swampert the Peerless, a powerful version of the fan-favorite Generation 3 starter Pokémon.
It will come with the Poison Tera type, and the Damp ability, which prevents Explosion-type moves.
Like other seven-star raids, The Mighty Swampert will reach level 100, so you’ll need to match his level if you want a chance of capturing him.
Swampert is also likely to have strong Water, Ground, and Poison-type moves, so you’ll need to prepare a tough Pokémon to defeat it.
You will have two weekends where you can encounter Swampert the Unrivaled, with one raid appearing on each day of the weekend.
This will give you six chances to capture yours, although you will only be able to capture one Swampert in total.
The first weekend Swampert will be available starts on Friday, May 31, 2024, and ends in Sunday, June 2, 2024.
You will have a second chance to fight and capture Swampert from Friday, June 7, 2024, until Sunday, June 9, 2024.
After these dates, The Mighty Swampert likely won’t return to the game, so it’s worth watching while you can.
