A live-action trailer titled “Black Ops 6: The Truth Lies” will premiere at 7am PT/10am ET/3pm UK, but fans have gotten a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Firstly, Android and iOS users with the Xbox Game Pass app were notified that Black Ops 6 would be released on Game Pass later this year.

However, the teaser trailer thumbnail also revealed some secrets about the upcoming game.

The thumbnail features the name Call of Duty Black Ops 6 in the top right corner, and the logo with the slogan “The Truth Lies” in the bottom left corner.

In the middle is a photo that looks a lot like Saddam Hussein, former president of Iraq.

Hussein was captured by the American army during the Iraq War for “crimes against humanity” and hanged in 2006.

Black Ops 6 will reportedly take a more historical approach than previous entries, drawing on the real Iraq War rather than a fictional story.

This means that real situations from Hussein’s life will be portrayed in the game, making it one of the most recent historical events portrayed in a Call of Duty game.

We’ll find out more about what’s in the game during the teaser trailer later today.

There will also be a longer showcase shortly after the Xbox showcase debuts on June 9th.
