PLAYSTATION is slashing prices on some of the best PS4 and PS5 games this week as the Days of Play sale kicks off.
Fans can find great deals on digital games, physical copies, hardware, accessories, and PS Plus subscriptions.
Since Days of Plays is one of Sony’s biggest sales of the year, it can be difficult to choose the best deals.
We’ve sifted through all the deals to bring you the best bargains from PlayStation’s 2024 Days of Play sale.
PS5 is on sale for £40/$50 off
Those who still want to save on a PlayStation 5 console can purchase one for £40/$50 discount on the regular price of the digital-only and disc versions.
The PS5 Digital Edition is being sold for £349.99 / $399.99while the Standard Edition, which allows you to play physical copies of games and movies, costs £439.99 / $449.99 right now.
Most consoles on the market are the newer PS5 slim model, which is less bulky than the original PS5.
The slim model is also modular, which allows gamers to buy the slightly cheaper digital-only variant first and add a disc drive later.
One disadvantage of the slim model is that it does not come with a vertical stand, so if you want to place your PS5 vertically, you will have to purchase this accessory separately.
Days of Play 2024 games on sale
Days of Play is currently offering discounts on digital games of up to 60%, but we found some prices reduced by 85%, so these are some of the best deals we’d pick:

PS VR2 sold for £90 / $100 off
PlayStation’s latest VR headset for PS5 is available for a discount of £90/$100 during the Days of Play sale.
Players can purchase the PS VR2 for £439.99/$449.99, and the bundle with Horizon Call of the Mountain is now £479.99/$499.99.
The PS VR2 had a difficult launch and first year, but recently Sony announced that it would allow the PS5 headset to work with PCs later this year,
When this happens, it will certainly increase the value of the headset and the number of games available to play.
PS Accessory, PS Plus and Product Deals
Days of Play also includes deals on accessories for Sony consoles, such as a deal on DualSense controllers for the PS5 in various colors, which now retail for £49.99 instead of the usual £64.99.
Gamers looking to sign up for PS Plus can also get up to 30% off Sony’s subscription service if they purchase 12 months, depending on the tier they choose.
Existing PS Plus members are less fortunate, as they can only save up to 30% on the remainder of their current plan if they upgrade to a higher tier.
There is also a 20% discount on selected products if purchased from the PlayStation Gear online store.
PlayStation owners will have until June 12th to lock in these deals, as that’s when Days of Play 2024 ends.
