GOOGLE has a rigorous database that covers all security breaches and internal investigations into them.

A recent report into Google’s internal database has apparently revealed the truth about five years of Nintendo leaks.

Google owns YouTube, and several companies upload videos to YouTube before their official launch to ensure they are ready on time.

These videos remain unlisted until the time of release and are uploaded in advance as, depending on the length of the video, it may take a long time to upload.

Although the general public cannot access these videos, some Google employees can watch and check out the video.

This isn’t done for all videos, but it can be done to ensure the video meets YouTube’s guidelines, typically if the video is flagged for content that violates the rules.

The database was viewed by 404 Mediawho claims to have seen these reports thanks to an anonymous source.

Google has verified the content of internal reports and states that the privacy violations were resolved when they occurred.

However, the report shows that the unlisted Nintendo videos were apparently watched by an employee and their content was leaked for five years.

Due to the long timeline of these events, it appears the breach was not reported to Google for several years.

Private Nintendo videos were allegedly viewed between 2013 and 2018 by a Google employee, and the content of these videos was apparently leaked online.

The report does not detail which videos were affected, nor what information was disclosed, only that the activity was “unintentional”.

It is not detailed how the breach occurred unintentionally or what happened to the employee after the breach.
