IKEA is opening a virtual store in one of the biggest online games and offering paid jobs to players.

Here’s how to sign up for one of the paid player roles at Ikea and start earning real money when the store opens.

Ikea is launching The Co-Worker Game on the online platform Roblox in June 24, 2024.

With the new virtual experience, the Swedish furniture chain wants to show what it’s like to work in its stores.

Ikea prides itself on its unique approach to career development, where each worker has more freedom to grow within the company.

Ikea’s Co-Worker Game will be a virtual store within Roblox, allowing players to immerse themselves in the work environment.

For greater immersion, Ikea is offering ten paid jobs in the new virtual store and applications for them are now open.

Candidates will have up to June 16 Apply for your dream jobs through The Coworker Game Website.

The lucky ten who are hired will be paid £13.15 per hour for their shifts in the online store.

This is Ikea’s hourly pay rate for its real employees in London.

Selected candidates will be invited for virtual interviews between June 14th and 18th.

Applicants for paid employment must be aged 18 or over and live in the UK or Ireland to apply.

Along with the paid features in the Ikea online store, The Co-Worker Game will be open to all Roblox players who want to try it for free.
