How to watch Summer Game Fest 2024 – full schedule and what to expect from the showcases

Summer Game Fest is just around the corner, and it’s one of the best weeks of the year for gamers, packed with announcements and world premieres of upcoming games.

We already have all the details about the showcases that will take place during the event, with start times, where to watch and what to expect.

Summer Game Fest will kick off with a two-hour show hosted by Geoff Keighley of YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.

As Keighley teased earlier this week in a Q&A about the show on Twitch, this year’s kickoff event will focus primarily on “existing games bringing new updates to fans.”

Of course, players should also expect new announcements, but these won’t be for “games that have been around for years and years,” Keighley highlighted.

Summer Game Fest will begin in June 7, 2024, 10pm UK time/2pm PT/5pm ET and will be broadcast live on Game Awards YouTube channel.

The opening event will be followed in the coming days by a series of showcases organized by different publishers or focused on specific types of games.

Summer Game Fest 2024 Presentations

Developers Day starts right after the opening show on the same stream and will focus on indie game reveals.

Dubbed Volvy’s 15th birthday party, the Return directly will also be broadcast on the main SGF channel, offering exclusive previews of publisher Devolver’s upcoming games.

O Future of Play Direct will be about family-friendly gaming, followed by Wholesome Direct for cozy, upbeat gaming.

O Latin American Games Showcase focuses on over 70 upcoming titles from Latin American developers and will be broadcast on YouTube.

SGF Women-Led Games analyzes titles produced in female-led game studios.

The event will be broadcast on the same channel, but will use a separate link for SGF Day 2.

Presented by GamesRadar, Future Games Program is a general presentation of PC and console games.

Microsoft will reveal upcoming titles from its game studios in Xbox game showcasefollowed by a special, in-depth analysis of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Xbox Games Showcase and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct will be broadcast on SGF main channel.

The PC Gaming Show is dedicated to games coming to PC, and you can watch it at PC Gamer YouTube channel.

Finally, Ubisoft will stand its ground Advance showcase with exclusive looks from Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, XDefiant.
