Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is being reduced in price by a whopping 90% on Steam.

Players can obtain the title for just £2.49 / $2.99 instead of the usual $24.99/$29.99.

The deal comes to fruition as Hellblade finally gets its sequel, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, released just a few weeks ago.

Both games in the series were rated 81 on review aggregator Metacritic, and if you haven’t played the first yet, now’s your chance to grab a bargain.

The game tells the story of Senua, a Celtic warrior who must reach the Norse afterlife kingdom of Hellheim, dealing with monsters and her inner demons along the way.

Praised for its faithful depiction of psychosis, the game’s developers worked with mental health experts and sufferers to craft Senua’s journey.

Unless you have a PC Game Pass subscription, where both games are available at no additional cost, the current Steam deal offers the lowest price ever for the first Hellblade.

Players have up to June 23rd at 6pm UK time / 1pm ET to purchase the game at the current low price.

The game features a moving story, but also comes with a trigger warning for ‘depiction of psychosis’.

So if you are experiencing depression or another mental health issue, this may not be the best choice for you.
