If you want to play quietly at night, this is the trick for you.

It turns out that Sony recently allowed gamers to set the PS5’s boot beep sound to silent mode.

This feature was added in late 2023, so many players still have no idea it exists.

The trick was shared on Reddit and received over 1,000 upvotes.

HOW TO TURN OFF THE PS5 BEEP

First, go to your PS5 settings to ensure the latest software update is installed.

Then go to Settings > System > Beep Sound.

You can adjust the volume of the beep sound by selecting Volume.

Or you can simply turn off the noise completely by activating Mute Beep Sound.

This way, you can start your PS5 peacefully at night without waking up partners, family or pets.
