Hints suggest Palworld will be coming to PlayStation soonCredit: Pocketpair

Among the long list of AAA games, one indie hit stood out as a surprise cult hit.

Palworld was initially described by many as ‘Pokémon with guns’ thanks to the similarity of the Pals’ designs to those of the popular Nintendo franchise.

However, when people started playing it, they realized that it is a completely different genre, playing more like a survival MMO.

At its peak, Palworld had over 2 million concurrent players on Steam alone, not including the large number of Xbox and Game Pass players.

It is currently only available on Xbox and PC, but there are signs that it will be coming to a new platform in the near future.

Palworld’s community manager, known as Bucky, recently tweeted a teaser that Palworld will be coming to PlayStation.

Their tweet says “Palworld” with the name of the game surrounded by green, black, and white heart emojis.

They follow up with, “I want to add more hearts, but I’m not sure what color would fit… hmm… how about…”.

The next line has the name Palworld surrounded by the same heart emojis, but now also with a blue one.

They end the tweet with: “Sounds good, I guess!” followed by the eyes emoji.

Blue is known as the color associated with PlayStation, which is why gamers believe Bucky is hinting at the game coming to PS5.
