XBOX will soon close one of its biggest stores and with it hundreds of games will disappear.
However, even though people knew about the impending shutdown, there was another downside that players are only just realizing.
As seen by pure Xboxnot only will hundreds of games be delisted when the Xbox 360 game store closes in July 29, but hundreds of demos will go along with it.
Several games can be purchased on Xbox series consoles thanks to backwards compatibility, but many of them cannot.
This means that if you don’t buy them before July 29th, the only way to play them is to buy the physical disc.
In addition to the removed games, there are over 250 demos available on Xbox 360 and all will become unavailable when the Xbox 360 store closes.
Demos are a great way to try out games before you buy them, or to play a little bit of a game you’ve been missing.
The list of available demos varies by region, but there are several popular series included in the list.
Bayonetta, Katamari, Call of Duty, Batman: Arkham, Devil May Cry, Fable and Mass Effect are just some of the big name games that have demos on the 360 store.
People will still have the opportunity to download and play for free before the end of July on their Xbox 360 consoles.
Once downloaded, people will be able to play them as many times as they want, so it would be a good idea to download any that pique your interest while you can.
