Prime Gaming recently announced that members can now subscribe to a Twitch affiliate channel of their choice for free.

The benefit is available in countries that support Twitch.

Subscribing to the channel allows Prime members to access ad-free chat, emoticons, and viewing privileges.

Members can also use the free membership to support their favorite Twitch streamers.

CLAIMING THE FREE BENEFIT

To subscribe to a Twitch channel for free, Amazon Prime members must first create a Twitch account if they don’t already have one.

Twitch charges users to subscribe to streamers, but it’s free to create an account and watch live streams.

Users will have to link their Twitch and Amazon accounts.

Next, users must decide which Twitch channel they want to subscribe to for free.

There will be a purple subscribe button at the top of your chosen channel.

After users click the drop-down arrow, a pop-up window should appear describing the benefits of the subscription.

What to know about Prime Gaming

Prime Gaming is available to Amazon members and includes exclusive perks for gaming enthusiasts.

Channel subscriptions typically cost $6 per month, but players can use a quick trick to cancel the charge.

A box should appear saying “Use Prime Sub” in the pop-up window.

After checking the box, users can click the Subscribe with Prime button and Amazon will replace the charge.

There’s just one problem with the free subscription: it’s not automatically generated every month.

Subscribers must remember to check the boxes at the beginning of each month so that Twitch does not charge their bills.
