CAPCOM recently revealed a teaser trailer for one of its most popular classic titles, but it didn’t show us much.

Fans were extremely excited about the return of Dead Rising, despite the teaser only showing protagonist Frank West jumping out of the helicopter.

However, Capcom recently held a showcase that gave us new details about the upcoming remake.

First of all, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster has a release date and people will be able to dive in as soon as possible. September 19, 2024.

This is the release date for the digital version of the game, but Capcom confirmed that a physical version would be released in November.

It will also be a little cheaper than many AAA games and will only cost £40/$50 at launch.

Those who pre-order the game will also receive a series of exclusive costumes for Frank.

Despite being called a remaster, it’s clear from the new reveal that this is actually a remake developed in the Resident Evil engine.

The game has received a major graphical overhaul, and the difference between the look of the original and the remaster is night and day.

It will also run at 4K/60fps and includes a number of quality of life improvements to help it meet modern standards.

Frank can now move while aiming, and there will be auto-save which was not present in the original game.

Fans will be happy to know that NPC behavior has been improved, meaning survivors will be less likely to run straight into danger.

You’ll also be able to advance time so that if you just want to complete the main quests, you won’t have to wait.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be released for PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
