RESIDENT Evil is one of the most popular horror game series in the world and it makes sense that Capcom is working on more games.

Fans have spotted four unreleased Resident Evil games in an online store, suggesting that many more are on the way.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and Resident Evil 5 are rumored to receive full remakes.

There is the possibility of a Resident Evil 0 remaster and, of course, a new entry called Resident Evil 9.

Although store pages for these games have appeared, Capcom has not confirmed any new games for the franchise.

That was until the Capcom Next Summer Showcase, where the company revealed that at least one Resident Evil game was in development.

Koshi Nakanishi said: “We are making a new Resident Evil. It was really difficult to figure out what to do after 7.

“But I found it and, to be honest, it looks substantial. I can’t share any details yet, but I hope you’re excited for the day you can.”

Nakanishi is the director of Resident Evil 7, considered one of the best games in the series.

This could suggest that he is now working on Resident Evil 9, as he claims he was looking for new ideas for this game.

The cover art shown at PlayAsia suggests that Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine could be the protagonists of the new entry.

However, Nakanishi was also a designer on Resident Evil 5, so he could also be working on the remake.

It will likely be some time before the next Resident Evil game is fully revealed, so we’ll have to wait for more news.
