The STEAM Summer Sale is underway, but even better than big discounts are free games.

If you’re interested in free games, you can head to the Epic Games Store every Thursday, where there’s at least one new free game per week.

This week, you can catch The Falconeer, which is playable on both PC and VR.

Launched in 2020, you ride a bird across the sea and participate in aerial and naval combat.

The synopsis for The Falconeer reads: “Soar the skies aboard a majestic warbird, explore a stunning ocean world and engage in epic dogfights in this BAFTA-nominated aerial combat game.

“You take on the role of Falconeer, a powerful airborne warrior traversing a vast ocean world torn apart by generations of poisonous decisions and dissent.

“Over the course of multiple campaigns, you will experience life from many different perspectives and allegiances as you embark on a journey of discovery and solve the mystery of Ursee, its people, and its history.”

The Falconeer usually costs £15.99/$19.99, so you’ll save quite a bit of money by picking it up this week.

It is available for free on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, July 11, 2024, when will it be replaced by more free games.

You can get it from the game’s store page on the Epic Games Store website or directly from the Epic Games Launcher.

The launcher is free to download and is necessary if you want to play this game, so it’s worth getting.

Since the Epic Games Store offers free games every week, you can build a solid PC game collection without spending anything.
