ONE of PlayStation’s biggest exclusives will have an open beta event so people can play early.
Revealed during the latest PlayStation State of Play in May, PlayStation fans are eager to dive into the next exclusive over a month in advance.
Concord is a 5v5 first-person shooter where players team up with up to four friends to take on the opposing team.
Not only can players have easy access to the beta, but sets of beta keys are being distributed in groups of five, so you can have a full team to play with.
Although Concord launches exclusively for PS5 consoles, it is also available for PC players and features cross-platform play.
There will be two beta periods available for those interested.
The first, called early access beta, will begin in Friday, July 12, 2024, until Sunday, July 14, 2024.
This beta is available to anyone who pre-ordered the game on any platform or to anyone who is a PS Plus subscriber.
After pre-ordering the game, you will receive five beta codes for the first weekend so everyone can play together.
The second weekend will take place from Thursday, July 18, 2024, until Sunday, July 21, 2024.
This will be an open beta, meaning anyone with a PS5 or gaming PC can sign up to participate.
During the beta period, people will be able to play as all 16 fighters on several different maps.
Concord will see its full release in August 23, 2024, when it launches for PS5 and PC.
