The TV series FALLOUT was a huge hit with viewers and introduced a new group of people to the video games the show is based on.

Now it has proven its worth to critics, as the show has received 17 Emmy nominations.

Walton Goggins was nominated for Best Leading Actor thanks to his role as the GhoulCredit: Prime Video

These include Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Walton Goggins.

Following the appointments, Amazon executives Jennifer Salke and Vernon Sanders spoke with Variety about their plans for Fallout and future video game adaptations.

Sanders gave some hints for the show’s next season, saying, “I think we’re ahead of schedule in terms of being able to get Season 2 back.

“We don’t have an exact release date yet, but we already have the scripts in hand and I think Season 1 fans are going to love where we’re going with Season 2.”

Sanders also claims that Amazon is still looking for other video games to adapt for the screen, but that it is being selective about which games it wants to work on.

He says: “I think it has to be the right combination of a piece that feels special and unique in the landscape, a real partnership with the IP creators, who know how to translate that, and a visionary voice, both visionary writers and creators.

“Fortunately for us, we feel like we’ve found some things in this area that really warrant it.

“We have already announced Tomb Raider, which we are incredibly excited about.

“And there are some other things definitely percolating. I think sooner or later you might hear about some new things, but we will always be careful and judicious.”

Salke also states that God of War fans should “stay tuned” for more information about the series, saying that Amazon “loves” the IP.

It’s not all rainbows and sunshine for gaming TV shows, however, as Paramount has announced that the Halo TV show will not return for another season.
