XBOX acquired publisher Activision Blizzard last year for nearly $70 billion and promised to bring its games to Game Pass.
Activision Blizzard has a number of important game series such as Diablo, World of Warcraft, Crash Bandicoot and Call of Duty.
So far, most of these games have not been added to Game Pass, with the exception of Diablo 4.
However, what most people were waiting for were games in the Call of Duty series.
Xbox has announced that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be added to Game Pass Ultimate in October.
While we all wait for that release, Xbox has made the latest Call of Duty game available to Game Pass players.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released late last year to mixed reviews thanks to its short and lackluster single-player campaign.
Despite this, many players still enjoy online multiplayer, and most people only play the latest version.
There were rumors that Modern Warfare 3 would soon be coming to Game Pass, and the day has finally arrived.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is now available on Xbox Game Pass Standard, Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The only tier that won’t be able to take advantage of the new addition is Xbox Game Pass Core.
Xbox recently changed its Game Pass plans, replacing Xbox Game Pass for console with Xbox Game Pass Standard.
The new Standard plan does not include day one releases, but this does not affect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as it is almost a year old.
The standard now also includes online console multiplayer, so you won’t need another subscription to play the online modes.
The downside is that all Game Pass tiers have seen a price increase, meaning your subscription will cost more each month.
