Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition was released just a week ago, on July 18, 2024, and to celebrate, players can purchase a special game guide completely free of charge.

Titled ‘Classified Information for 13 Legends Challenges’, the 24-page digital booklet offers valuable tips and tricks for tackling the game’s toughest speedrun challenges.

The free guide is available for download from the My Nintendo website and no subscription or payment is required to obtain it.

My Nintendo rewards usually cost platinum or gold points to redeem, but occasionally Nintendo gives out items for zero points.

That’s the case with this free guide, which only requires you to log in with your Nintendo Account to redeem.

To get your freebie, just go to my.nintendo.comLog in and you’ll see the free guide on the My Nintendo home page.

The digital booklet is completely free and doesn’t even require you to own the game to redeem.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is a collection of over 150 short speedrunning tests taken from 13 of the most popular NES games of the 1980s.

These are titles like Super Mario Bros. original, The Legend of Zelda, Excitebike, the first Donkey Kong, Metroid and more.

The compilation does not include the full games, but rather small parts that you need to complete as quickly as possible.

Unlocking all challenges and collectibles from a single game also unlocks the Legend challenge and this is where the free guide will come in handy.
