XBOX fans have been warned that two services will disappear forever starting Monday.

Owner Microsoft first announced the change in May, resulting in hundreds of games no longer being available for purchase on one platform.

Xbox owner Microsoft recently announced the closure

The change affects Xbox 360 console users who use the Xbox 360 Store and Xbox 360 Marketplace.

Therefore, anyone who owns an Xbox One or Xbox Series S/X need not worry, their digital stores will remain unchanged.

Fortunately, this also doesn’t mean that Xbox 360 gamers will lose their existing purchases.

And you don’t need to suddenly rush to download them all before cutting.

You simply cannot make new purchases.

This includes everything: games, trials, add-ons, avatar items, apps, game screenshots, game trailers, and videos.

“This will not affect how the community plays games currently owned by them on Xbox 360 or through backwards compatibility,” Microsoft said.

“Gamers will be able to continue to download and play the games they already own on their Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X |

Online multiplayer isn’t ending either.

Players can still play multiplayer as normal in previously downloaded games and on-disc games – but remember, the availability of online services depends on support from publishers, not Microsoft.

Microsoft warns: “To play offline, you must first make sure the licenses have been transferred to your console.”
