To celebrate the return of one of PlayStation’s cutest mascots, Astro Bot, a new limited edition PS5 controller will be released.

The controller is mostly white with metallic blue on the grips and blue accents on the buttons.

Fans are most excited about the controller’s touchpad that features Astro Bot’s eyes, which will change expression based on the trailer.

Unlike the Xbox controllers that are available as freebies, the Astro Bot controller will be on sale so anyone can purchase it.

The controller will be on sale as a pre-order at Friday, August 9, 2024, but since this is a limited edition controller, they are expected to sell out quickly.

It will cost $79.99/£69.99, which is in line with the price of other DualSense controller colors, although more standard colors can be sold for $69.99/£59.99.

While you can pre-order starting next week, the controllers won’t ship until a month later.

If you pre-order the Astro Bot controller, it should arrive in Friday, September 6, 2024, which is when the new game will be released.

The new game in the series, simply titled Astro Bot, is exclusive to PS5.
