Skyrim developer just filed a new trademark and fans think they’ve cracked the code for an upcoming game

SKYRIM developer Bethesda is known for its open worlds full of side quests and stories to discover.

Despite the size of the base games, this hasn’t stopped Bethesda from building out their already large maps.

Skyrim has received three expansions, each adding significantly more content to the game.

Bethesda’s latest release is Starfield, and while an expansion has been announced, there is no planned release date.

The first Shattered Space expansion will be released in 2024 and is included as part of the base game’s special editions.

While we still know very little about this first expansion outside of a short trailer on the Xbox Games Showcase, fans believe a second expansion is already in the works.

Bethesda recently filed a trademark for ‘Starborn’, which fans believe will be the name of Starfield’s second expansion.

The term Starborn is a central concept to the base game Starfield, and the Starborn plays a large role in the story and ending.

Players are hoping that if there is a Starborn expansion in the works, it will expand on the subject matter further and answer all of the players’ questions.

Bethesda head Todd Howard also revealed in an interview that the studio has big plans for Starfield DLC, although at the time fans believed he was referring to Shattered Space.

With the latest trademark, players now think he could also be referring to Starborn.

He said: “In terms of content, we’re looking at what we did with Far Harbor in Fallout 4.

“This is a scope that works for our development by doing this kind of annual story expansion.

“I’m really excited about it, and it allows us to do some things the way we would in previous games and give people not completely that experience because it’s still Starfield, but this new kind of alien world that you can explore and it takes place there. ”

While players who purchased the Starfield Special Edition were promised access to the first expansion, it will also be available separately for purchase.

Starfield is one of Xbox’s biggest console-exclusive games, although it is also available to PC players and as part of Game Pass.
