PLAYSTATION has just announced three more games that online gamers can pick up for absolutely nothing.
New games are added to PlayStation’s subscription service, PS Plus, every month, but August’s offerings are particularly good.
All three new games are being added to the service’s cheapest tier, PS Plus Essential.
The Essential tier is primarily for those who want to play online, but you also gain access to three new free games every month.
Subscribers to the highest tiers, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, will also be able to claim these three games.
This month Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights will join PS Plus Essential and is considered a hidden gem by indie fans.
Ender Lilies is a challenging 2D metroidvania that has been praised for its dark atmosphere, fun exploration, and challenging fights.
Fans and critics alike love the game, as it has a massive rating of 88 on review aggregate site Metacritic, with a corresponding user score of 8.4.
Ender Lilies is accompanied this month by two games from major franchises.
The first is Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which is considered one of the best games in the Lego video game series.
The Skywalker Saga is a collection of different Lego stories and allows you to play all nine main Star Wars films.
It has an 82 rating on Metacritic and is praised by fans for being a great game for the whole family, as you can play with other people in co-op mode.
The last game coming to PS Plus Essential this month is Five Nights at Freddy’s: security breach.
While in the main FNAF games you are locked in the security room, in Security Breach you go outside and explore the restaurant.
It’s not as praised as other games in the FNAF series, but it’s still popular among FNAF fans.
All three games will be available via PS Plus Essential at Tuesday, August 6, 2024, which is the same day that the July games will be removed from the service.
Frontiers 3, NHL 24It is Among us They’re July’s PS Plus Essential games, and they’ll be leaving the service on that day, so you’ll need to pick them up before then if you want to keep them.
