ONLINE stores are one of the most common forms of online game leaks, as listings accidentally appear before a game is announced.

This appears to be the case, as an unannounced SpongeBob game appeared on a store’s website before people even knew it existed.

The game was discovered through a listing on a Twitter user at the Slovenian game store Igabiba.

A game around SpongeBob fan favorite Patrick Star has been listed for multiple platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X |

Simply called The Patrick Star Game, it will apparently feature an open world with challenges for Patrick to complete, set by other SpongeBob characters.

Few details were provided about the game, but a synopsis was included in the game’s listing.

It says: “Patrick fans, your time has come – and Bikini Bottom is your open-world playground!

“You can skydive with just an umbrella (or nothing), search for buried treasure in the Trash, or unleash your rage in Mrs. Puff’s Rage Room.

“Use just about any item you can find – from your reef blower to a can of paint – to make the world more Patrick.

“And face challenges only Patrick would attempt, created by SpongeBob, Sandy Cheeks, Mr.

“So become the star of the show, put your dumbest ideas into action and enjoy the physics-based chaos unfolding around you!”

The Patrick Star Game was €39.99, which is normally £34.99/$49.99.

People were also able to see the game’s cover art, which shows Patrick Star in front of a theme park in Bikini Bottom, with SpongeBob in the background.

However, fans have also noticed something about the cover that concerns them about the game’s quality.

The publisher listed in the bottom right corner of the cover is Outright Games, known for publishing children’s games.

Although he has had some success, many of his games receive negative reviews due to various bugs and poor gameplay.

One Twitter user wrote: “Ultimate games are a huge red flag,” while another sarcastically commented “I trust the publisher behind Peppa Pig World Adventures.”

Most comments simply wrote “Outright Games” followed by memes showing disapproval of the publisher’s choice.

The Patrick Star Game has not been confirmed, but listings like this are usually real.

It has yet to be determined whether it will be one of Outright Games’ highest quality titles.
