EA Sports FC (formerly known as FIFA) has been around for decades and every year there is a new entry for fans to play.
The series is best known for adding small improvements to each game, and players don’t always realize how much has changed until they return to an older title.
However, one of EA FC 25’s upcoming improvements has caught players’ attention, as it’s a feature they’ve been demanding for years.
The next addition to the long-running series will introduce a new feature called FC IQ.
This will give players more control over their football players, allowing them to micromanage exactly how each person plays.
We talked about exactly how this will work in our EA FC 25 preview, but in short, it will offer over 50 playstyles for each player.
For example, a CAM can also be a playmaker, a shadow striker or a wing midfielder, while a right or left back can be a defender, a false full-back, a full-back or an attacking full-back.
By adding another layer, these roles can then have a focus, such as a roaming playmaker or striker.
Although people focused on many of the positions, there was one key role that was largely forgotten.
Goalkeepers will also receive a variety of play styles that will help players overcome some of the more annoying parts of playing EA FC.
In EA FC, the goalkeeper usually defends by hitting the ball not far from the goal. This allows the other team to tap back into the goal for an easy point.
These are some of EA FC’s most frustrating goals as they feel they should be easy to save.
One of the new goalkeeper playstyles is called Deflector, and comparing gameplay between a goalkeeper without a playstyle shows a big difference.
The Deflector hits the ball away from the goal when making a save, preventing attackers from dribbling the ball into the net.
This has been one of the most requested changes by EA FC players and fans are happy to finally have better control over their defenses.
The FC IQ system is completely new and many players may not engage with it when the game launches.
However, from the images we’ve seen, you’ll need to find the right playstyle for each player if you want to get the most out of them.
