Xbox backgrounds are improving and it can finally remember more Wi-Fi networks

Microsoft is releasing an Xbox update which lets you view game art with any Xbox Home background. This means you will continue to see your dynamic or regular background when you are not browsing different games.

Previously, Microsoft only allowed you to view game art with the default Xbox Home background. Now you can keep your background It is see the game’s art without having to decide between the two. Microsoft began testing this feature in April, and you can see what it looks like in this embedded post from my colleague Tom Warren.

To activate this option, go to the Xbox Settings menu and select General > Personalization > My Wallpaper. From there, choose Show art from selected game. You can now also update the dynamic background color without changing your profile color.

Microsoft is also rolling out a few other updates, including the ability for your Xbox to remember up to 10 Wi-Fi networks, saving you from having to set up network information and passwords again each time you move the console away from one. place to another.

It’s also rolling out a controller update that allows the Xbox Adaptive Controller to have “expanded support for more connected USB accessories,” with each port now supporting up to 12 buttons, a second stick and a hat switch, as well as more stable audio connections ​​for headphones connected to an Elite Wireless 2 gamepad.

Additionally, Microsoft is making mouse and keyboard support in Xbox Cloud Gaming available to everyone and will now allow gamers to automatically manage game data and cloud save titles played in their browser, on the Xbox website, or in the Xbox app at Samsung TVs.
