Amazon shoppers shocked by sudden price drop on 43-inch smart Fire TV, selling for just £259

AMAZON shoppers were surprised by the sudden price drop on an already “bargain” Amazon Fire TV.

The 43-inch smart television has been reduced in price by 40 per cent, from £429.99 to £259.99.

The gadget features 4K picture quality that supports vivid 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, HLG, and Dolby Digital Plus – which is much more vibrant than 1080p full HD.

Amazon’s Fire TVs offer all the benefits of a Fire Stick – including the ability to talk to Alexa via the remote.

Users can simply press the circular button on their remotes to ask Alexa to open specific apps, find movies and shows, as well as check the weather and sports scores.

Just like the Fire TV Stick, Amazon’s smart televisions have all the major streaming apps, including Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+.

But there are also several free streaming apps with their own live channels.

Like all Alexa gadgets, Amazon regularly updates the voice assistant’s skills, features, and smart home capabilities — all accessible through Fire TVs.

The 43-inch television hosts three HDMI ports for connecting to satellite TV and various consoles like Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch.
