SAMSUNG mocked Apple’s alarm problems in a brutal social media stunt.
The South Korean tech giant poked fun at its main rival on Instagram, saying that “Samsung users woke up on time today.”
It turns out that some iPhone owners complained that the alarm didn’t go off.
Apple has confirmed that there is an issue and experts are working to fix it.
But the company hasn’t shared what’s causing the alarming outage.
In an Instagram post, Samsung shared a dog meme alongside text that reads “rest assured, our alarms turn OFF.”
And Apple’s headache appears to be getting worse as reports emerge of a new problem with another of its devices.
The Apple HomePod speaker is alleged to be having trouble telling users the time, according to MacRumors.
The HomePod and HomePod Mini were apparently having trouble responding to voice prompts asking “what time is it?”
Instead of Siri giving a response, users claim that it directs them to check their iPhone.

Since the issue emerged on Thursday, Siri is reportedly responding to “what time is it?” now.
But people say it won’t give an answer to “what time is it?” or “Can you tell me what time it is?”
DECLINE IN IPHONE SALES
Apple also revealed that iPhone sales fell in almost every country where it operates, in its latest results.
Demand for the device fell more than 10% in the first three months of 2024 as sales declined in all regions except Europe.
The company’s revenue fell 4% – although the results weren’t as bad as experts expected and Apple’s share price rose soon after.
“Apple today is reporting March quarter revenue of $90.8 billion, including an all-time record for services revenue,” said Apple chief Tim Cook.
“During the quarter, we were excited to launch Apple Vision Pro and show the world the potential that spatial computing unlocks.
“We’re also looking forward to an exciting product announcement next week and an incredible Worldwide Developer Conference next month.
“As always, we are focused on providing the best products and services to our customers, and doing so while living by the core values that drive us.”
iPhone Tricks to Try Today
Here are some of the best…
- Typing cursor – When typing, hold down the spacebar to turn your keyboard into a trackpad, allowing you to move words and sentences more easily
- Close all Safari tabs – To do this in one go, simply hold the overlapping squares in the bottom right corner and press close all tabs
- Delete many photos quickly – Long press a photo and drag your finger diagonally across Photos to select multiple images at once and click delete
- Convert currency quickly – Swipe down from the top of the home screen (or swipe left to right on an iPhone X or later model), tap the bar and enter a currency (like $200) and it will automatically convert to your local currency
- Check if you need a battery upgrade – Batteries inside smartphones degrade over time. Just go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health and check the Maximum Capacity reading. Generally, a battery is considered exhausted when its capacity is reduced to 80%. If it’s below, you can buy a battery change from Apple
- Move apps faster – Hold an app until it starts to jiggle, then (while holding) tap other apps, making them stack so you can move them more easily
