SAMSUNG has issued a warning about ensuring your phone runs at peak efficiency and it has to do with storage.
Device users can check how much storage they have available on their phone by going to the settings, battery, and device care tab, then clicking the storage tab.

The telephone operator’s useful tip came as part of a video on brand support page.
Samsung also offers a detailed hack to help users get rid of unwanted items taking up storage.
According to the guide, users must ensure at least 20% free storage to get maximum performance from the phone.
To do this, you must optimize your phones regularly to free up space.

Those who want to clear data need to go to the settings, battery and device care tab before clicking the “Optimize now” button.
Once users select the option, they should see a white screen that cycles through a checklist of items.
Samsung’s video also gives users another way to ensure their device is running at full speed.
According to the brand, another way to free up storage is to uninstall applications by long-pressing them and following the instructions to uninstall the applications.

The video comes shortly after several users expressed their concerns about the price of the phones.
In April, Samsung owners took to Reddit in a thread called “We were spoiled back then” to discuss the current state of phones.
“I bet in a few years phone brands will stop including cables too,” one person commented after several group photos showed how newer phones were packaged compared to what older phones included.
With older phones, the package included a Galaxy S10+, headphones, a charging wire with charging plug, a plastic phone case, a SIM ejector tool, and some instructions.
The latest model only came with the phone, a charging cable and no plug.
“They even stopped including replacement tips for the s-pen, which is strange if they’re still going to sell the s-pen with devices,” another person added.

In the past, Samsung has said that having fewer items in packaging was due to environmental concerns.
“Samsung believes that gradually removing charger plugs and earphones from device packaging can help solve the growing e-waste problem,” the company wrote on its website.
The company added that it was “trying to eliminate unnecessary waste of resources by prioritizing compatibility between product components.”
The same trend was also adopted by Apple.
