Who are YouTube stars The Try Guys?

The Try Guys are a popular YouTube group that posts videos of them trying outrageous things.

The group was founded by Keith Habersberger, Ned Fulmer, Zach Kornfeld, and Eugene Lee Yang in 2014 while working at BuzzFeed.

In 2018, the group decided to separate from BuzzFeed and open their own independent production company.

When did Ned Fulmer leave The Try Guys?

On September 27, 2022, The Try Guys announced that Ned was “no longer working with The Try Guys”.

“As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together,” the statement read.

“We appreciate your support as we navigate this change,” he concluded.

The group also released a video on October 3 explaining their separation from Ned Fulmer.

They began by saying that over Labor Day weekend they were alerted to Ned’s “romantic public behavior” with “an employee.”

The trio confirmed that they investigated the allegations.

Ned was immediately removed from work and an HR employee was notified to conduct a “thorough review of the facts,” the boys said.

When did Eugene Lee Yang leave the Try Guys?

On May 22, 2024, Rolling Stones has exclusively revealed that Eugene Lee Yang will be leaving The Try Guys.

He will pursue other creative endeavors, but the group will continue as a duo when the next season of content ends.

Zach Kornfeld told the outlet: “Some of this is bittersweet. We will miss working with Eugene.

“He has been one of the true collaborators in our lives. But we had a lot of time to process this.

“So we’re very excited for him, very excited for us and feeling very energized by this whole moment.”

Keith Habersberger added: “Eugene’s departure is necessary for us to move forward.

“Things change. The original cast of THE TRY GUYS already came to an end once, but now they’re getting a finitely better ending.”

What is 2ndTry.tv and how can I watch?

In a YouTube upload on May 22, 2024, Zach and Keith announced their own streaming service, 2nd Try, which is separate from YouTube.

In the new service, Try Guys will offer new videos on a subscription basis.

The ad-free streaming service and app launched on May 22, 2024, and costs $4.99 per month.

Zach said The Hollywood reporter, “I think what excites us is that we can now treat YouTube and any other social media platform as just that, a social media platform, where we use it to reach new people and excite them, rather than relying entirely on our ability to survive as a business with them and their advertising dollars.”

Keither added, “You need feedback, and YouTube and all these social media sites give us that feedback in real time. So we’re still doing things for that audience.”

The Try Guys will move forward as a duo and still post free content on YouTube.
