IPHONE owners have come up with crude uses for a new feature expected to hit their smartphone later this year.
Apple is reportedly working on a new AI tool that allows users to create their own emojis.
Instead of relying on the huge list of existing emojis, the upcoming iOS 18 update could generate a completely new one “based on users’ text messages,” according to Bloomberg.
The rumor has sent iPhone owners crazy on social media with all sorts of naughty suggestions, like rude body parts.
“This is going to get out of hand,” wrote one user on X, while another said Apple “opened Pandora’s box with this one.”
“Sexting is about to go crazy,” added a third.
“Dear God, this is not going to end well,” said a fourth.
Others were quick to point out that Android has had a similar feature for years, accusing Apple of being “late to the party.”
However, the Android version is quite limited, only mixing existing emojis – and has not been shown to create overly rude variants.
Apple is in a rush to catch up on the AI front following a surge in advanced technology from ChatGPT owner OpenAI, Google’s Gemini and Samsung.

The tech giant is rumored to be close to signing a deal with OpenAI to speed up iOS on the AI front.
The iPhone’s voice assistant Siri could be in line for a much-needed update.
Apple will hold a big event on June 10th, where the company is expected to reveal all of its plans.
Another big change that isn’t related to AI could be a redesign of the iPhone’s home screen.
It is reported that users will have the option to change the color of the app icons.
And iPhone owners can also have a little more freedom over how they organize their home screen, allowing people to place apps wherever they want rather than in a standard grid.
iPhone Tricks to Try Today
Here are some of the best…
- Typing cursor – When typing, hold down the spacebar to turn your keyboard into a trackpad, allowing you to move words and sentences more easily
- Close all Safari tabs – To do this in one go, simply hold the overlapping squares in the bottom right corner and press close all tabs
- Delete many photos quickly – Long press a photo and drag your finger diagonally across Photos to select multiple images at once and click delete
- Convert currency quickly – Swipe down from the top of the home screen (or swipe left to right on an iPhone X or later model), tap the bar and enter a currency (like $200) and it will automatically convert to your local currency
- Check if you need a battery upgrade – Batteries inside smartphones degrade over time. Just go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health and check the Maximum Capacity reading. Generally, a battery is considered exhausted when its capacity is reduced to 80%. If it’s below, you can buy a battery change from Apple
- Move apps faster – Hold an app until it starts to jiggle, then (while holding) tap other apps, making them stack so you can move them more easily
