APPLE users have been hacked over a little-known policy for some of its most popular products.
Self-proclaimed finance maestro Faares Quadri shared how users could get some free Apple replacements.
He explained that the company’s one-year warranty on many products meant users could get a free replacement product even if there were no signs of physical damage.
Quadri (@faaresq) told his 2.8 million followers about the helpful rule they could use on popular items like chargers and AirPods.
The TikToker said this came from the fine print of Apple’s one-year warranty policy.
This requires the technology company to replace or repair a damaged item within one year of its purchase.
Users should note that this special rule does not apply to iPhones.

Quadri pretended to go to a store, return a charger and buy a new one.
In the video, the TikToker said he shouldn’t have to pay for the new charger he bought a year ago due to company policy.

“And under your policy, if you buy an accessory and it stops working within a year and there are no signs of physical damage, you will provide a replacement for free,” he said.
The tech influencer shared a screenshot of Apple’s warranty policy.
“Apple’s secret return policy,” the video’s caption read.
The tech influencer added an important note that customers should remember when visiting the store to make a return.
He said Apple users should also bring their proof of purchase to the store.
The user told his viewers in the comments why this hack was so useful for him.
Apple One-Year Limited Warranty
Apple warrants your Apple-branded hardware product and Apple-branded accessories contained in the original packaging (“Apple Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Apple’s published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”). Guidelines published by Apple include, but are not limited to, information contained in technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications.

“I use apple chargers more than anything else…” he said.
TikTokers shared their thanks to the influencer in the comments section of the video.
“Glad I found this out, about the rationing of her charging in this house with only 1 working charger and 4 phones,” said one person.
“If I had seen this a month ago I would have changed the charger,” wrote another person.
One commenter said he had already used this rule.
“I did this to my airpods!!” they wrote.
“I took them in to get repaired and they gave me a whole new set.”
